In this episode, Jackie talks with Latoya Britt, who is known as a Giant Slayer — slaying the fears of what seems impossible to do. She is a visionary leader who loves inspiring and motivating others to embrace the discipline and creativity required to cultivate greater productivity. Latoya is a Senior Manager, Member Services and Sponsorships, at American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM), the leading trade association representing the makers of the fuels and petrochemicals. With over a decade of experience leading program development and operations, Latoya regularly contributes to the planning and implementation of initiatives and strategies aligned with organizational profitability, member service, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) goals. She is a Maxwell Leadership Team Member, and a Facilitator for the Secrets of a Strong Mind program.

Listen as Jackie and Latoya discuss the importance of stepping out of your comfort zone to become the person you are supposed to be. Latoya loves interacting with people, and she embraces the feedback and constructive criticism they may provide. From a sales perspective, Latoya feels some of the challenges currently facing the profession are inferior products with bad advertising, and sales leaders not believing in what they are selling. To be a winner in sales, you need to love people, be committed to a life of learning, and have a true passion for what you are selling.
